The demonstration works. Not the operation.
AI costs are increasingly becoming a significant cost driver. With each additional application, model, token, infrastructure, and operating costs increase, and these costs eat up part of the savings that were hoped for. Therefore, more AI applications do not automatically mean more efficiency.
If AI costs more than it saves, it is not an increase in efficiency.
What matters is the actual net economic benefit, not the number of AI solutions implemented. That’s why we calculate every use case before it is built and measure it further during its operation.
The figures confirm the pattern: in 2025, 42 percent of companies abandoned the majority of their AI projects; a year earlier, it was 17 percent. A second survey of 300 deployments found that 95 percent of organizations saw no measurable contribution to the bottom line from generative AI.

AI is not a product issue for us; it is part of our daily work. That is the reason why we can talk about operations and not just about demonstrations.

Our models run in European data centers using an inference profile specific to Europe. Global routing is not possible; we assess the target regions for each project individually.

Input and responses are not used for training the models and are not passed on to the model provider. This is contractually agreed upon, not just a house opinion.

Logging is turned on by default. When we turn it on, it writes only to our own account and the same region. For each model, we first check what storage the operator requires.

We work in short sprints with a deliverable at the end of each round, instead of specifying it over half a year. What doesn’t work is finished after one round, not after a year.

Time savings are achieved in places that no one likes to do: evaluations, summaries, preliminary checks, documentation. The assessment remains with the consultant, and that takes time.
The information regarding processing region, training usage, and logging applies to our own environment and is bound to its configuration. Your settings apply to projects in your environment; we will review them together.
